In 2021, when acquired by PACK, Tri-State Drilling was a 65 year old foundation drilling contractor with a stellar reputation in the industry. PACK’s goal in the acquisition was to continue the legacy, expand geographically, and diversify into new markets. Since then, PACK has helped transition and bolster the leadership, create a 5 year strategic plan and grown the company annually by 40%.

PACK Start Up Strategy

With eyes toward the growing high voltage market, PACK decided to form PACK Power from scratch in 2023. From a standing start, with an initial focus on constructing substations, the company has completed projects in over 9 states and has grown to more than $100mm in annual revenues.
